Contemporary Weekend House

I’m normally not a huge fan of contemporary architecture. It can be cold and uninviting, a lot of the time. But this weekend house is wonderful! I especially the pool house (I guess that’s what that is!), and the way the entire bottom floor opens up to the property.

Walnut Tree House

Modeled after the shape of a walnut, this awesome treehouse fits perfectly in a backyard. Or build a few of them for a treetop retreat for your family!

Double Modular Home

Small Chilean Guest House

I love this small guest home near Navidad, Chile, by Aata Architects. It looks so simple, like it could almost be built in a weekend. But the inside is warm and inviting, and the deck looks perfect for watching the sun set with a glass of wine.
