I’ll admit it, I’m totally addicted to all those daily deals and flash deals sites. In case you’re unaware of flash deal websites, they are websites that offer a few different sales from stores or manufacturers at big discounts (up to 90% or more) for a few days. Here are three of my favorites that you all might be interested in – they all specialize in home furnishings, home decor, home products, and those sorts of things.
OneKingsLane
OneKingsLane offers antiques, decor, gifts, holiday decorations, and more, ranging from the inexpensive to the very expensive (they occasionally have furniture for sale for over $10,000). It’s all really nice stuff.
The Foundary
The Foundary is like OneKingsLane, but it seems to me to be a little less design-oriented, and more functional-oriented. For example, instead of fancy French antiques, The Foundary is currently offering sales on LoveSac items, KidKraft kid furniture, and gameroom furniture.
BULX
BULX is unlike the others in that they tend to offer home improvement types of items. Currently their sale items are Brizo Bath Hardware, Steuben Glass gifts, and High Design bathroom china.
There are a few other sites out there that occasionally offer home decor items that I love, I’ll be sure and let you all know when they pop up! Good luck shopping!

Though this cabin isn’t typical of what I like, it has a few redeeming features. The solar panels and the rest of the green features are awesome, of course. Plus the house has a very ‘solid’ look to it. It definitely looks like it’ll survive the Vermont winters without much trouble.

There’s a few things I like about the interior, too. This window seat/storage is fabulous, and it looks like it might end up being quite warm. Hopefully we’ll get to see some pictures once it’s furnished.

I don’t know much about the Natural Balance House, other than they are going for LEED Platinum certification, and thus they have a whole slew of green features. And it’s a gigantic, beautiful house!

This small cabin addition is only 830 sq ft. In case you think that’s too small to be interesting, check out the interior:

You don’t need 2500 sq ft to have something awesome!

I love love love the way this house is situated in the trees. It looks like so much care was take to nestle it in the environment.

The interior is wonderful, too. It almost looks like camping, there’s so little separation between man-made and natural. Just wonderful.

I just love this place, it’s perfect.

Kaweah Falls is a home design by Frank Lloyd Wright student Frank Robert, and is located at the base of Sequoia National Park. It’s currently for sale for a tad under $2,000,000!

The article refers to this home as a “weekend beach house”, but there’s no way I’d ever want to leave.

My favorite part of this house is the wooden walkway leading up to the front door. I don’t know what it is, exactly, but I love it!

I’ll admit the kitchen is awesome, too.

A small caravan or travel trailer doesn’t have to feel cramped, as long as you use great design. Check out these great pics:

A clean, uncluttered design does wonders for a sense of space.

Dress even the smallest space up with fun design elements and you’ll have a caravan you’ll love to spend time in, regardless of the size!

I love A-frames. I had a childhood friend that lived in an A-frame, and they had a wonderful loft for reading and relaxing, and it left an impression.

A-frames can handle the worst weather that the Pacific Northwest can dish out, if nothing else!

As I’ve said before, prefab doesn’t have to mean boring! These prefab homes by North Carolina-based Deltec Homes range in size from 328 sq ft to 5000 sq ft!

They look great, and are reportedly strong enough to handle Florida’s hurricane season. And they are eco-friendly!
