These Hanging Outdoor Lounging Pods from Dedon make any yard or open space inviting – and relaxing. I could really take a nice nap in one of those, gently swaying in the breeze…

I love this house, especially the use of concrete and wood together. I don’t always see good examples of that. The view isn’t half bad, either.

This cave house is located on a small island a few miles north of Sicily. I don’t think I could live here – I would slowly go crazy. But the view is amazing!

While the centerpiece of the Wood Radius House by Dwyer Design is clearly the steel and wood wheel spoke column central to the house, there are two smaller elements that I love. First of all is the bathroom shower/tub. Doesn’t that look awesome?

The other thing I love is this fireplace. I could just curl up on that big rug with a good book and a roaring fire and just be. LOVE IT!

Wow. Apparently you have to go to Belize for these, but that’d be totally worth it. Talk about a dream!

I really like the looks of this modern little prefab in Austin, Texas. Built about 80% in the factory, then transported and put together on site, it has a nice, comfy feel to it.

Though the most striking and most talked about feature of House Ocho in Carmel, California ia the growing green roof, I just love the patio. Check out that fireplace!

The roof is nice, don’t get me wrong. And I love the thought of photovoltaic skylights. But there’s something about that patio…

Built to handle the extreme weather and elements of the Strait of Juan de Fuca, this cantilevered cliff house is situated on Cortes Island in British Columbia, Canada.

I love the beauty of the house, but I also love how solid the house looks. It doesn’t look like it’d budge during a windstorm, tidal event, or major asteroid collision!
