Here’s another home from Yossawat that I love. This houseboat is just fabulous, with a giant rooftop deck. And how about that view from the office? Wow.
UK-based Kingsley Architects have come up with a new way to live off-grid: in a floating caravan-style home. These small house boats will be solar powered, with many of the green features that you’d expect. They’re nice looking, to boot.
Maybe it’s because I live in Seattle, but I love houseboats. This home on Lake Huron is really more of a floating house than any sort of boat, but it still fits the bill. The interior is beautiful, but it’s the location that takes the cake.
